Life is hard, right? No matter where you live, as long as on the earth, seems no big difference. But still there is some difference till the day you see the difference.
I haven't been back to China since I came to USA, it's been 3 years 3 months so far. But the connection never stopped, because my mother, my brother and my friends still there, and they are a part of my life. I complained a lot while things didn't work out like I imagine, you will never know your potential until you are challenged all the time. But is it only me feel stressed? Absolutely not, the answer is some people even more stressed than me. Or many many Chinese people they are stressed much more than me. Lucky me, live in a country has more freedom. Yes, that's the real benefits for whom lives in USA, even its freedom is being taken away little by little.
What my friends in China complained the most is kid's education, job pressure, missing the joy of life... I understand them, because I have gone through them. Again, lucky me. I am living in a country that I can make my own decision, make my own choice. I can choose where to live, where to send Sunny to study, what job I like, what kind of life I want.
I once read a word from a Chinese News, said "how happy you feel is not depend on how much you have, but depend on how much more you have than your neighbors." Sounds silly, but it's very true. People always want to be richer than others, better job than others, even they compare their kids with others. It's extremely obvious in those big rich cities. So the consequence is once someone did something, then others will all follow, will not consider if they like or not, but don't want to be left behind. It's called competition. I remembered when Sunny took daycare in China at age 3, 21 kids in her class, almost all kids took different classes, dance, drawing, math, calligraphy, chess etc in the Summer, I was not keen to let Sunny learn so early just because everyone was learning, but I prefer to wait to see what she really likes. So I asked her, and we didn't take any class that year. Later, another boy's mom told me the kids in her son's class are all learning playing chess, except her son. She is similar like me, positive of her own mind. But then she said one day her son told her requested to learn chess, the reason is when other kids talking about it, he knew nothing, he felt left behind. Can you see the big market in China? Once you have a good begin to provide a kind of study related service, then you will not lack of customer. I don't know if she chose to send her son to learn chess or not, but it's so annoying to her, I bet.
I can talk about all those kinds of annoying thing in few pages or even longer, because it happens everyday, everywhere. But nobody can change it, untill the day the government finds another better way to manage the country with such large population.

Embrace today...
Embrace today,
for today is real,
tomorrow is uncertain,
don't dream too much,
because it's too far to reach.
Embrace today,
thank God for your life,
enjoy the kid's smiles, hugs, kisses,
don't expect too much,
because future is too far away
Embrace today,
open your heart,
let God guide you, say a word to you,
give you peace, give you strength
Embrace today,
even if you will die tomorrow,
but no regret for you,
because you have lived for today.

The real benefits for kids in USA
I always wondering why should Chinese parents sacrifice themselves to live in another strange country, one of the reasons is Chinese education has been crazy and force them to leave (including me), to any reason if you can, all for the sake of a more open, better education for their kids. But I didn't see any advantages from the public school system so far, and indeed I somehow miss the Chinese schools, even they are being too much to the students, compared with the American's schools.
But tonight I had a new evaluation of the real benefits for the kids in USA. That because Sunny complained she is tired of those books she borrowed from the library 3 weeks ago, she wants some new books. She is a girl whom is crazy on reading, she can read for the whole day except each meal I ask her to stop. And each time she will borrow around 20 books. Now everyday she reads 2 books at school which the teacher will sign, and she will bring home another 2 books to read at home. Yesterday she borrowed a really big book which is almost 100 pages and since she took dance lesson in the evening, so she didn't have time to finish it, because I rushed her to sleep. I am so happy to see she likes reading, I started to read her books when she was only a few months. It's very important to stimulate the kid's brain in the first 3 years, and reading is one of the best ways. If we are still in China, she definitely can't read as many as she wants, first not many books to borrow, most of books need to buy, not borrow from the library. Second don't have time to read, plenty of homework will not allow you to read. But since she came to the USA in last January, she probably has read five hundreds of book or even more! And now she is reading all the chapter books. Today no exception she borrowed 21 books and 3 DVDs.
In America, you can be very excellent, you can choose you own way, but all depends on yourself. I do appreciate all those public resources that share with everyone who is eager to learn. Don't waste them.

A fun game to practice math
Recently Sunny likes a game called "buy and sell" which she created by herself. The material is very simple, just cards. She pretends to be the seller, I pretend to be the buyer. And the products can be everything in your house, can be as small as a bottle of water, a box of cookie, can be as big as a fridge, a TV. The big price range can make the game more interesting and more challenging. Also it's a good way to practice add and subtract with the young students.
The value of the cards is each number under 10 represents $1-$10, and every picture cards represents $100, so enough money to buy stuffs!
The fun part is kid can quote whatever they feel comfortable, which they can handle, when they feel more confident of the numbers, then they will quote some big numbers to make it a little difficult. For example, 2, 5, 10, 50, 100 is very easy to handle, then maybe 9, 12, 36, 72. But still workable, the only thing is when I gave her a bunches of small numbers to match her big price, she has to add them first, so sometimes she may forget the original price. But it's ok, game is to have fun! Sometimes I will give her a little more or a little less to confuse her, but she will return the extra "money" or burst out "mama, it's not enough!" lol! I know, I am testing you!
I am so happy she likes this game, so whenever she wants to play, I will stop my stuffs and play with her!

A new challenge!
This is the ideal desk for kid! I have been looked for this kind of desk for long time, and finally found it, not too big, not too small, but has all the functions. I ordered online, and picked up at store, it's 70lbs! So I have to open the package and carry several pieces each time to upstairs. But it worthwhile! Then it took me almost 4 hours to assemble it, and glad Sunny was willing to help. I am pretty sure she will be much better than me when she grow up, and this is another skill I want to teach her!

Crash!
Today when I drove home after work started to get onto 83, a girl hit my car from behind. The enormous crash made me lost consciousness for a second, I thought I hit the car in front of me, but since we were too close, I have no idea if it's true. But when I looked back, I saw smoke rose from back, I never thought I could be in a car accident, but when I got off my car, I saw a severely damaged car with smoke from the engine. The rear bumper of my car on the right side fell. So it's true I got a car accident. Thankfully we both are all right, except the fear of the accident.
Then police came and checked and told us how to do. I didn't feel anything let me down, even I got some troubles, maybe I am get used to solve problems, other than ask for help.
The other thing I feel so lucky is I didn't buy a Japanese car, I saw some Toyota crashed badly before, now I myself saw the poor Honda was towed away.
Anyway, the lesson is every time every minute need to drive safely, I am glad Sunny is not in my car. Thank God for protecting me!

Tell you something
Tell you something that you might not know:
1. don't park your car without a tag at a private property, and your apartment complex, otherwise, will be towed.
2. if been towed without notifying you, call 911 immediately, they may give you the information about your car.
3. try to ask more detailed information about the charges from the tow company, if stored for more than 3 days, they will charge you an extra $50.00 administration fee.
4. every inspection for the used car only valid for 30 days, otherwise, need to re-inspection.
5. the year of any used car less than 7 years, need notary.
6. if your car has some minor problems need to be fixed, negotiate with the inspection company to give you the inspection certificate to apply for the tags before they done, to save some time.
7. if you happened lost the sticker, go back as soon as possible to the counter and ask for a new one.
8. tag screw is different, and the tag bracket costs around $30.00, if you don't want it, simply drill two holes and screw the tag on the front of your car.
The reason I clearly knew all the details is because I met all these situations. I am so thankful to learn something new, even I don't want to.

Life is about to find the balance
Life is about to find the balance.
when you feel lonely,
think about everyone you know who has the same situation as you,
so it's not only you have the problem,
just relieve...
when you feel tired,
think about when you were energetic, passionate,
what you need is a break,
be grateful...
when you feel so stressed,
think about those who is struggling with different problems, financials, jobs, marriages...
but you have God always with you,
what a blessing...
Actually, life is not about to find the balance, Bible says:"For his spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering." Romans 8:16-17 "When we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character; and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love." Romans 5:3
God will give us the balance, the wisdom, the strength.

I am a Fe Male.
I assembled the bookshelf and the 5-pieces dinner table all by myself.
The only thing I learned after I came to the USA is everything you need to do all by yourself.
You can ask, you may learn, but eventually it's all about you.
Well, it's not bad though.
Give myself two thumbs up!
Also this small one.

Funny Chinese, Funny Sunny
Yesterday I posted some pictures of Sunny on my Chinese blog, and added some descriptions, one of those are "最后的学生 (the last students)", because her teacher will retire after this school year. So think about to check Sunny's Chinese, I asked her to read for me what I wrote. She recognized "的(which is a possessive partial)" and "生(has various meaning and different form, 学生 means student, as a noun; 生的 means fresh, not cooked, as an adjective; or verb, (who) deliver (you)". In order to remind her the character before "生", I gave her a clue and asked:"你是什么生的(what gave you birth)?" instead of "你是什么生?What 生 are you?", see only one character different, but totally different meaning. After I asked her, Sunny stared at that character, and answered:"我是妈妈生的. (Mummy gave me birth)"." "Ur....of course, you are right." LOL, my baby, I love you and I love Chinese!

Confucius visas resolved for Chinese educators
Updated: 2012-06-01 03:09
When Fang Maotian entered the meeting room at the State Department on May 24, he was surprised and overwhelmed by the size of the United States' team.
Led by Robin J. Lerner, deputy assistant secretary for private sector exchange at the State Department, there were more than a dozen US officials waiting for urgent consultations with Fang, minister counselor for education affairs at the Chinese Embassy in the US, and his two colleagues.
With tension mounting over a confusing visa directive concerning Chinese language teachers in the US, the two sides had quickly reached out for dialogue and successfully found a solution within a couple of days to avoid any further misunderstanding.
On May 17, without consulting the Chinese side, Lerner signed a controversial visa policy directive and sent it to US universities that sponsor Confucius Institutes, through which the Chinese government promotes Chinese language and culture overseas.
The document stated that any faculty member who, through a college's J-1 exchange program, teaches students of elementary or secondary school age, is violating visa rules. It also stated that the educator must return to China by June 30 to reapply for an appropriate program.
If enacted, at least 51 Chinese teachers would have been forced to leave the US. About 600 currently work there, according to the Confucius Institute Headquarters, more commonly known as Hanban.
The directive also demanded that the institutes were required to obtain US accreditation to continue accepting foreign scholars and professors as teachers. It was the first time that such a requirement had been raised since the non-profit organizations began operating in 2005.
Most of the people working for the 81 institutes across the US were shocked and confused by such sudden and strict orders from Washington.
Over the following two days, phone calls and e-mails flooded into the State Department and the Chinese embassy, making inquiries. On May 20, Xu Lin, the head of Hanban, wrote a letter to her US university partners and said she hoped that the project would not be affected or halted by the directive.
The Chronicle of Higher Education, a Washington-based news service, first picked up the news and said if the institutes' teaching activities were curtailed by the new policy, there would be some impact on US-China relations.
Faced with the growing attention back home, Fang and his colleagues decided to find out the real reasons as soon as possible.
To show her seriousness about the issue, Lerner brought her whole team to meet the Chinese officials.
Through "candid" talk over the issue, the Chinese side expressed their grave concerns and raised their doubts; US officials clarified their intentions and admitted their errors in drafting the document.
Within 24 hours of this consultation, a revised policy directive was sent out on May 25 to clear up the mess. As a result, no Chinese teacher will be forced to leave the country and no accreditation is required for the institutes.
Before the new document came out, the US side gave Fang a preview copy for comment.

US State Department clarifies its directive on Confucius Institutes
No Chinese teachers at Confucius Institutes in the United States will have to leave the country by the end of June, the State Department said Thursday, clarifying a directive issued last week that drew strong reactions from US universities that host the nonprofit institutes and their Beijing headquarters.
The department is working to clear up confusion over its visa-policy directive issued on May 17, spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in Washington. The directive was sent to universities that sponsor Confucius Institutes, a well-established means by China's government of promoting Chinese language and culture overseas.
The document said any faculty member who, through a college's J-1 exchange program, teaches students of elementary- or secondary-school age is violating visa rules. That educator, according to the directive, must return to China by June 30 to reapply for an appropriate program.
If enacted, the directive could force as many as 51 teachers to return home to China. About 600 currently work in the US, according to the Confucius Institute Headquarters, more commonly known as Hanban.
Nuland told reporters Thursday at the State Department's daily briefing that the US values people-to-people exchanges with China. She said the directive isn't aimed at Confucius Institutes but previous "muddling and messing up" in J-1 visa categories.
"So we're going to sort these out. Nobody's going to have to leave the country," she said. "It's all going to get cleared up. But there was some confusion on the front end, so we're going to fix it."
Schools were also thrown by the directive's demand that Confucius Institutes obtain US accreditation to continue accepting foreign scholars and professors as teachers.
"The department is reviewing the academic viability of the Confucius Institutes. Based on the department's preliminary review, it is not evident that those institutes are US-accredited," the directive states.
A Chinese education official in the US, who requested anonymity, said this is the first time a question of accreditation concerning the Confucius Institutes has been raised.
The first institute in the US was established at the University of Maryland in 2005. Since then, Hanban has dispatched more than 2,100 teachers. It says the 81 Confucius Institutes across the country are established jointly by applicant US universities and counterpart campuses in China. Each institute is run independently.
"All headquarters resources that were given to the Confucius Institutes, including guest teachers, were provided based on requests from the US," said a Hanban official who didn't want to be identified by name.
By Tuesday, the State Department appeared to be backpedaling from the accreditation demand.
The Chronicle of Higher Education, a Washington-based publication, cited an unnamed department official as saying the part of the policy directive on accreditation was "confusing" and would be redrafted to clarify that Confucius Institutes that have partnerships with accredited colleges are in compliance with visa regulations.
"This is not about the Confucius Institutes or about the Chinese model," the official said. "This is just simply a regulatory matter."
Huajing Maske, director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Kentucky, told China Daily that both sides need to find a middle way to resolving the visa issue.
"I understand the J-1 visa category concern from the State Department, as I would like to think that the State Department is thinking about and preparing for the expansion of the Chinese programs in the K-12 schools, brought by the huge success of these programs and the warm welcome that these programs have received," she said.
The visa controversy has raised concerns in China that relations with the US could be harmed.
Discussions are taking place between China and the US. China is "in consultation" with the US on the issue, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said.
"We hope the issue will be addressed appropriately and will not affect the development of the programs," Hong said.
A senior official at Hanban, who asked not to be identified, said teachers go through a strict process of selection by both China and the US, and receive special training.
"I thought that since the teachers were granted visas after receiving invitations from the US, there would not be a problem," he said. "As someone who is responsible for Confucius Institutes in the US, I was shocked" by the directive.
"All the teachers embarked on their trip in a spirit of friendship but are being forced back with the feeling that they were not welcome. Isn't this harming friendship between Chinese and American people?
"What is hard to understand," he added, "is that the US, which is known for its strict visa policies, has, for years, allowed the Chinese teachers to hold their current visas. The US State Department and other agencies have never mentioned this issue to us before, but then suddenly it makes an announcement. Why?"
As the number of Confucius Institutes in the US is growing fast to meet the strong demand for Chinese-language study, the program is also facing criticism from some politicians.
In March, the US Congress held a hearing on China's public diplomacy in the US and strongly criticized the operation of the Confucius Institutes.
Kelly Dawson in New York contributed to the story.

Tea's refreshing change
Tea's refreshing change
Chinese beverage takes on renewed meaning and styles to draw in younger generation Rather than while away their time in coffee shops like most of their peers, Li Jiayi and her friends are happy to spend 1,000 yuan ($158, 122 euros) between them over a pot of tea.
Of course, it is not just a cup or two of tea they get. This regular "ceremony" involves a tea-themed dinner accompanied by tea-related performance art and followed by a tea-oil massage.
"It's not like the old-fashioned teahouse where old folks get a pot of tea and chat all day long. We get all-round service here - shopping for tea, drinking, dining, massages, enjoying art performances. It's a perfect place for friends gathering, and for business banquets," says Li, a 27-year-old company manager in Beijing.
The ancient tea drinking culture, though still popular among the older generation, is making a comeback as it takes on various forms to attract a greater and younger range of customers.
"Tea can be a daily drink or an art form or a relaxing leisure pursuit," says Liu Lei, an industry expert and executive of Xiangguo Teahouse. "At a time when bottled drinks are constantly facing safety issues, tea can be considered a healthy replacement."
Originating in China, tea is deeply rooted in the country's culture and people's lives. It is considered as one of the seven necessities, along with wood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce and vinegar.
Legend has it that tea was discovered by an emperor, Shennong, about 5,000 years ago, when several tea leaves fell into the water he was boiling under a tree. The refreshing and slightly bitter flavor gradually became popular among the upper classes. By the time of the Tang (AD 618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties, it had become the drink for all, and was constantly featured in the works of poets, calligraphers and other artists.
Teahouses sprang up all over the country during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), where people could go to eat, drink, play and relax. Teahouse, a famous play written by the legendary Lao She in the 1950s, is set in such an establishment in Beijing and covers the social and cultural changes that took place in the first half of the last century.
Places like Lao She's teahouse may be a thing of the past, but trendy new ones are springing up all over the country, luring in drinkers with more refined and sophisticated tastes.
The right food is important too. Quick and easy dining can be found in places like Chamate, a chain of tea-theme restaurants where people can choose from an extensive menu of drinks and dishes.
Or for those who prefer a private room and a more specialized service, the teahouses on Maliandao, home to Beijing's major tea stores, offer a good choice.
After selecting from the varieties of black and green teas, customers can sip and allow themselves to fuse into the mostly southern-style architectural surroundings, or they can enjoy an appropriate tea-related meal or tea oil massage while artists give performances and demonstrate calligraphy, all to do with tea.
Although Western coffee shop chains such as Starbucks have posed a threat to traditional teahouses, they have also set an example. Gengxiang Teahouse, which has opened 200 stores in China, believes it has thrived due to Western management expertise.
"We consider coffee shops as partners, not competitors, as we specialize in two different areas," says Wang Jun, deputy general manager of Gengxiang. "The business model of Western coffee shops has set a good example for us, especially in scaling operations and instant service."
The popularity of home coffee-making machines has also inspired tea producers, who are now developing machines that brew good quality tea just as quickly.
In other initiatives, tea is used to make dishes and deserts. Tea-flavored ice cream sold by Wuyutai, one of the major tea brands in China, has become a hit with customers.
Tea culture, deeply rooted in southern China, has also evolved through its spread to other regions, where tea production is sparse.
Traditionally, people in the northern part of China prefer flower tea; in East China, it is longjing green tea, and pu'er in Southwest China. But the pattern has changed over the years.
While old Beijingers still prefer their flower tea, young people have developed different tastes. Organic green tea, along with pu'er, black tea and tieguanyin, are some of the varieties that have gained ground over the past decade. And flavors, such as lemon, rose and jujube, that are rarely seen in traditional recipes, have been introduced to appeal to youthful palates.
"Although tea drinking and tea art performance are quite popular in China, they are lacking in ritual, which incorporates tea in people's daily lives, compared with other Asian countries, such as Japan and South Korea," Liu says.
But Li Jiayi and her friends in Beijing fully appreciate their "ritual" teahouse outings as they are.
"Tea ceremonies are more subtle and cultivated than extravagant banquets. They allow people to stop and relax despite the fast pace of modern life," she says.

The way to look for an apartment in a good school district
- Ok, this is how I am doing now, searching a good school district for Sunny, just in case you need it. First, lock the area you want to move, south, west, east or north. Then, go to http://www.schooldigger.com/ to find all the schools in that area, type in the zip code in "find a school" box, there are a lot of schools listed there with different rank. Also you can go to http://www.greatschools.org/ to find more informations of the schools you are interested in. Choose the school you want to go, then go to http://www.apartmentguide.com/ or www.rent.com (if you choose the apartment qualified to earn $100 reward card, that would be very nice), enter the zip code which the school locates, all avalible apartments listed there, but not all of them are in that school district. So what you have to do is go to http://www.bcps.org/apps/boundaries/ and type in the address of the apartment to find out if it is in that school district. You can print the list or write down all the apartments information, because they are too much information so you need to mark them and for later on narrow the information and visit them in person. Last, also very important, while you select the apartments, you have to go to www.apartmentratings.com to look some reviews from other tenants before you go there. If most of them didn't recommend it, so you don't need to waste your time. Wish it helps you!

Chinglish is gelivable, lol!
Chinawood (means the Chinese movies learning from Hollywood) Naked Phenomenon (nothing to do with no clothes on. :) 中国“裸”词汇 代表时代新思潮 “裸婚 (naked marriage: means couples get married not like traditional marriage, have house, car...everything ready, but here even without these, they still get married.) ”、“裸考 (naked exams: students take the exams without preparing)”、“裸辞 (naked resignation: people resign without finding another job)”…… (The Naked Phenomen shows the trends in the youth, be independent and free. If this Naked Phenomen getting more and more popular, it will bring the huge change of China Society.)

Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins
Cancer update from Johns Hopkins
This is an extremely good article. Everyone should read it. After years of telling people chemotherapy is the only way to try (try, being the key word) to eliminate cancer. Johns Hopkins is finally starting to tell you the there is an alternative way.
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. when doctors tell cancer patients that there no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has nutritional deficiencies. They could be due to genetic, but also to environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet to eat more adequately and healthy, 4-5 times/day and by including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation, the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
* Cancer Cells Feed On:
A. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are mad with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
B. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. by cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.
C. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is beest to eat fish, and a little other meat, like chicken. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful! Especially to people with cancer.
D. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach odwn to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. to obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells, try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
E Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is better alternative and has cancer fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines becomes putrefied and leads to more toxic build up.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
No plastic containers in micro.
No water bottles in freezer.
No plastic wrap in microwave.
Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. he said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. he said that the combination of fat, high heat and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. you get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant remen and soups etc should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one the reasons. He pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins which is actually melt out from the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead!

Ancient Chinese Secrets for a Long Life
China is a nation known for its longevity. The ancient Chinese believed that there are five things that need to be done to enjoy longevity. These practices may seem cumbersome, but they are beneficial to the body and soul and can help one thoroughly relax. They can also improve the quality of sleep and enable one to work energetically.
Walking
It is said that calmly walking 10 to 20 minutes a day can bring the blood circulation to the surface of the body and thus help our skin maintain itself after falling asleep. Before sleep, be sure to avoid reading news and avoid thinking about big issues once we lie down because it's necessary to reduce the activity of the brain. Doing so will enable a person to fall asleep rapidly.
Budding the Feet
There are Chinese sayings about the benefits of caring for the feet:" Washing your feet with hot water is much more effective than taking sleeping pills when you re ready for bed." "If you want to protect a tree, you should protect its roots; if you want to protect a person, you should protect his or her feet."
Many Western medical scientists regard the feet as "the second heart of the human body" or "the pump of the heart". They all praise the role of foot care.
Chinese medical science believes there are more than 60 acupuncture points on the feet that have strong ties with the internal organs. If we use warm water (104F - 122F) to wash our feet and rub the soles and toes of our feet, we can promote blood circulation, relax the muscles, and balance the yin and yang of the body. This can also help heal wounds and maintain fitness for older people.
Room Ventilation
it is important to keep the bedroom air fresh, even on windy or cold days, We can still open the windows for a while, especially before going to bed, as fresh air is helpful for sleeping well during the night. Do not to cover the head when sleeping.
Cleaning the Teeth and Body
It is more important for us to brush our teeth before going to bed than to do it in the morning, as this not only helps us clean away oral sediments, but it protects our teeth so we can sleep well during the night.
It is also very helpful to wash the face and clean the body before getting ready for bed. This will keep the skin clean and help us relax and sleep comfortably.
Brushing the Hair
Ancient Chinese medical scientists found that there are many acupuncture points on the head, so while brushing the hair, we can message and stimulate them to open those acupuncture points, relieve pain, and brighten the eyes.
It is said that rubbing the scalp with our hands until it is warm and rosy two times a day, in the morning and again at night, is beneficial. Massaging the scalp may clear the blood flow to the head, improve the thought and memory capacity of the brain, promote nutrition to the hair follicles, reduce the loss of hair, eliminate brain fatigue, and make it easier to fall asleep.

A New Blog
I accidentally deleted my blogs days ago, no doubt, computer technology plays an important role in our daily life, but if you are not good at it, it also can ruin your life. I was a little bit numb when I knew all blogs were gone, because I was in another sorrow. Then I regretted of what I am doing, I sent message to Google, but it's late, you can reactivate your account, but you can't save your blogs. It's a lesson, never be impulsive. But I still have some complains, why Google put everything together, is it has anything to do with you?
